Homeless persons / Beggars

Hope you are all well

Homelessness and beggars continues to be an issue of concern for local residents.

This week both myself and Linda have been able to find homes for 2 homeless people and have moved them both from the area.

We kindly ask that no money is given to beggars as this is not helping the situation as unfortunately this money can be used to purchase drugs. If you do wish to give money please do this through the numerous homeless charities channels that exist.

The majority of beggars are known to us and most have accommodation that they reside in, and they receive financial support from the Government so again money received by members of the public may be used buying drugs, which in turn increase anti social behaviour in the area
